Scope and content |
The Canada Gazette articles regarding Order in Councils and Proclamations including Order in Council
5523 from 29 June 1942 ordering Japanese Canadians to leave the coast and "consolidate
the control of the disposition of these lands by sale, lease, or otherwise." Outlines
detailed regulations of 5523 and is marked with a small red check. Contains a list
of Aliens who were granted Naturalized certificates in June 1942 (includes many "enemies,"
i.e., Germans, Italians, etc.).
