This file contains many letters written by people interested in purchasing a seized
Japanese Canadian fishing vessel. Letters come from across Canada. The standard reply from Provincial Fisheries is that the boats have been disposed of and the Japanese Fishing Vessels Disposal Committee has been “disbanded” but further enquiries can be made to the Custodian of Enemy Property.
