The file includes minutes of the 37th Annual Convention Union of British Columbia Municipalities (1940). Minute No. 58, Okanagan Valley amended 'Enemy Languages' - prohibiting people from speaking languages of enemy nations
in public places. In No. 68, the convention goes on record as opposed to 'Orientals
being allowed to acquire title to land in this Province.' (pg 28 and 30)
