Scope and content
This is the probate record for the estate of Kakuzo Seki. This document records the sale of Seki’s property in Vancouver to Roy Matamaru Iwata and that the payment for the property will be made to the Custodian of Enemy Property. It also lists three sons as beneficiaries but that “all moneys payable to the aforesaid beneficiaries are payable to the under Secretary of State of Canada in his capacity as Custodian of Enemy Property.”
