Scope and content |
This is the probate record of Hichizo Joe Uwate, who died in Tashme,
British Columbia on 29 April 1943. Uwate left a widow, two sons, three daughters and two grand-children
from a deceased son. Most of his kin lived in Tashme: one daughter lived in Carmi, BC; another daughter lived in Picture Butte, Alberta; and his grandson lived in Blenheim, Ontario. Uwate’s estate was left insolvent.
