This is the probate record of Kichisuke Matsumura, who died in Portage La Prairie on 21 December 1944. According to his probate record, he had an abode at Shreiber, Ontario, and a domicile in Port Hammond, BC. His son, Masaharu Matsumura, altered his affidavit with a handwritten note that his father was a “subject of
the Japanese Empire.” Masaharu renounced his right to administer his father’s estate.
