This is the probate record of Sadaroku Nakamura, who died in Slocan on 6 November 1942. With debts to a Dr. C.G. Hori and to the Department of Labour, Japanese Division for funeral expenses, Nakamura’s estate was insolvent. He left a widow, Shin Nakamura, and two children in Slocan, one son in Schrieber, Ontario, and another in Japan.
