Scope and content |
This file contains correspondence between Star Shipyard and the Japanese Fishing Vessels Disposal Committee as well as the Office of the Custodian. Most of the correspondence relates to repairs done on seized vessels. Other topics
include taxes on repairs and a purchase request for the ship “Mayne Island” made by
the company, along with receipts. There is also a short list of seized vessels with
descriptions of repairs done and ships’ fates.
