Scope and content |
This file contains documents concerning seized Japanese Canadian vessels repaired
by Star Shipyards. The vessels listed in this file were all prepared for custody of the Royal Navy. Star Shipyard reports that they had completed 122 vessels for the Navy. Most of
the documents are bulletins to the Japanese Fishing Vessel Disposal Committee informing them of the date and job number of vessels turned over to the Navy. There
are also a couple files relating directly to the HMCS “Departure Bay.”
