This file contains a letter to Prime Minister Mackenzie King and a statement for the press concerning “the activities of Orientals” in British Columbia. In his letter to Mackenzie King, Pattullo recommends a federal survey of the Japanese population to discover how many live in British Columbia and “who should not be here” due to “surreptitious” immigration. He requests a meeting and suggests “that no Japs be allowed admission” into the country.
