This series includes a letter from the Oriental Exclusion Association seeking support from the Tynehead Women's Institute and informing the Institute of their absorption of the Asiatic League into their Association. This series also contains information sheets regarding Japanese National Polity and statistics on Asian Canadians in British Columbia.
Name of creator
Tynehead Women's Institute created this archive about their organizations efforts to "improve conditions of rural life." The records were donated to the City of Surrey Archives in 1979 by Mr. and Mrs. Bothwell.
Immediate source of acquisition
The digital copies of the records were acquired by the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective between 2014 and 2018.
