Dear Sir:
I am writing you with the hopes that you will furnish me with the information I desire.
I am a discharged member of the present forces and owing to my state of health I desire to seek other forms of work as my present occupation bothers me.
First I would like to know if there are still any boats formerly owned by the Japanese for sale and the price of the same.
Second could you give me the record of the pack for the previous ten years also the water conditions with regards to spawning also your estimate of the next few years pack in accordance with this years run.
Is it possible for one who is ignorant of the business that you pursue find employment with you and learn the trade.
Hoping you will oblige
Yours truly.

Terminology

Readers of these historical materials will encounter derogatory references to Japanese Canadians and euphemisms used to obscure the intent and impacts of the internment and dispossession. While these are important realities of the history, the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective urges users to carefully consider their own terminological choices in writing and speaking about this topic today as we confront past injustice. See our statement on terminology, and related sources here.
