Her family includes Yuwa Nitta (mother; nee Yuwa Hamaoka), Harumatsu Nitta (father), Hisakichi Kurisu (husband), Chizu Kurisu [also listed as Chizu Teresa Kurisu] (daughter), and Hisao Kurisu (son). Her home address is listed as 621 Jackson Avenue, Vancouver, BC. She was forcibly uprooted to Greenwood, BC and was exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946.
