His family includes Okuno Kurisu (wife), Sam Isamu Kurisu (son), Chieko Sakai (daughter), Shoichi Kurisu (son), Hanako Okuno (daughter), Takeshi Okuno (son), Teruo Okuno (son), and Ruby Okuno (daughter). He was uprooted from Skeena River to Bay Farm, BC.
