Scope and content |
This file contains memorandum relating to the Prime Minister concerning policy and
public opinion, including petitions and letters, on Japanese Canadians. This file
also includes drafts of the Prime Minister's 21 January 1947 statement announcing
the repeal of the deportation Orders-in-Council which state the government's readiness
to compensate for any injustices caused by the forced sale of property at less than
market value.
