This file contains a collection of press clippings relating to the CCJC's 1946 Privy Council Appeal. While the Appeal concerned deportation, the press releases following the
council's decision (02 December 1946) include mention of property loss and compensation.
The file also includes press reaction to King's repeal (24 January 1947) of the deportation orders and promise for compensation
for unjust property loss.
