Scope and content |
The file includes a submission prepared by T.G. Norris on behalf of the Japanese Canadian Citizens' League concerning the enfranchisement of Japanese Canadian citizens in British Columbia. The submission references the Dominion Franchise Act of 1934 and its exclusion of
Japanese Canadians. It outlines the history of the legislation, misconceptions of
