Scope and content
This file consists of resolutions and petitions advanced by a number of church organizations and individuals (overwhelmingly, women), largely in protest, regarding the "repatriation," or forced exile of Japanese Canadians. The most common resolution was an identical one, submitted en masse, that also called for restitution to be made for property losses sustained due to government policy. Also included is a brief submitted by the Co-operative Committee on Japanese Canadians regarding the "repatriation" of Japanese Canadians and a publication written by prominent Japanese Canadian supporter, Angus MacInnis.
