This file contains two orders in council. Order-in-Council PC 1942-1665, dated 04
March 1942 created the British Columbia Security Commission (BCSC) and set its legal and operational parameters. The BCSC was granted the authority to oversee the forced uprooting and dispossession of people
of Japanese descent in British Columbia. Order-in-Council PC 1942-1666 dated Wednesday 04 March 1942 officially appointed
the members of the British Columbia Security Commission (BCSC).
