This file contains Order-in-Council PC 1942-2616, dated 01 April 1942. PC 1942-2616
set into action recommendations from the British Columbia Security Commission (BCSC). The BCSC recommended to the Privy Council that women, children, and "physically unfit" men of Japanese descent be forcibly
uprooted from the designated area (100 miles) in British Columbia. These people were to be forcibly relocated in Slocan, Kaslo, Sandon, and Greenwood.
