This file contains Order-in-Council PC 1942-8173, dated 24 October 1942. PC 1942-9723
appointed Justice J.C.A. Cameron (Ontario) to inquire into charges of a "Japanese fascist gang" affiliated with the "Black Dragon Society" in Vancouver, as reported by the Vancouver News Herald. Justice Cameron's task was laid out to lead an investigation and then commission a report based on
the findings. The concern centered around particular men of Japanese descent in Vancouver, specifically Etsuji Morii. This Order-in-Council is followed up by PC 1942-11599.
