This file contains Order-in-Council PC 1942-11599, dated 22 December 1942. PC 1942-11599 relates to the submission of the "Report of His Honour Judge J.C.A. Cameron, Re: Japanese Inquiry at Vancouver, B.C." as requested in PC 1942-9723. The Order-in-Council contains the lengthy (100+ pages) report, with detailed descriptions of the supposed activities in Vancouver taking place amongst the Japanese Canadian community, involvement of particular persons with the RCMP, and the BCSC. This report is a primary source in illustrating how people of Japanese descent were interacting with the law at this point in time, how resistance was being enacted and perceived, and how the law understood the Japanese Canadian community in Vancouver.
