This file includes correspondence regarding conclusions made by the War Cabinet Committee. It contains correspondence dated 10 May 1947 from A.D.P. Heeney to Minister of Finance, D.C. Abbott; Minister of Justice, J.L. Ilsley; and Secretary of State for External Affairs, L.S. St. Laurent which refer to minutes of a Cabinet meeting in which Cabinet appointed the Commissioner for disposition of claims (i.e., the Bird Commission). The minutes for this said meeting are not within this file.
