Scope and content |
This file contains documents concerning a meeting on April 22, 1949 covering the decision
of committee regarding commissioner’s recommendations, question of settlement, comments
on Vancouver property sales (believes they were fair), and chattel claims. The file also contains
the proceedings from property claims commission meetings between April and September
1949. There is some debate over resettlement, but otherwise they record the management
of specific claims, including those of Nishiguchi Company, Limited, Cowichan Saltery Co. Ltd., and Tanaka Co. Ltd.
