This file contains correspondence and records of the Advisory Committee of the BCSC from 1942. Included are lists of members; discussions of appointing Japanese Canadian
members to the Advisory board; correspondence concerning medical care, old age pensions
and other allowances; discussion of "maintenance" funds derived from Custodian-held Japanese Canadian accounts; and proposals and recommendations for the "management"
and placement of people of Japanese descent.
