His family includes Sato Nariiwa (wife; nee Sato Yamashia), Rui Nariiwa (mother; nee Rui Yamashita), and Yasuro Nariiwa (father). His home address is listed as Simoom Sound, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Greenwood, BC and he was exiled to Japan on 2 August 1946.
