Scope and content |
This file includes copies of archival records from 1944 to 1945 relating to Japanese
Canadian internment. Collected from Library and Archives Canada, the records concern the forced uprooting and "re-settlement" of Japanese Canadians
in eastern Canada with the closure of internment camps. The file also includes discussion of "voluntary
repatriation" and records concerning the Yellowhead-Blue River road camp and the closing of Sandon.
