She was born on 2 October 1891. She was a self-employed farmer. Her family includes Otomatsu Nishii (husband; deceased), and Tatsuye Nishii (daughter; also listed as Tazue). Her home address is listed as P.O. Box 76, #37 Phoenix Cannery, Steveston, BC. She was forcibly uprooted to Greenwood, BC and she was exiled to Japan on 2 August 1946.
