He was born on 26 July 1896. He was a boat carpenter. His family includes Tsune Nitta (wife; in Japan). Steveston, BC and Sunnyside Cannery, Skeena River, BC are listed as former addresses. He was forcibly uprooted to Pyramid Work Camp, BC and was exiled to Japan on 31 May 1946.
