Scope and content |
A black and white photograph mounted and framed in gray cardstock showing approximately
twenty men, women and children aboard the "New Island" and an adjacent boat. Both
ships are tied together and in behind is a waterfront building. Near the stern of
the boat is a woman holding a small child in her lap; the woman may be Mrs Yaeno Ishikawa
(nee Nishimura) with her eldest son, Seiichi (Sam) Ishikawa. Other people on the boat
are most likely family member and workers from the BC Packers.
