May 29, 1944.
The Custodian's Office,
Vancouver, B. C.
Dear Sirs:
Received your letter May 23rd, 1944. In this first statement quoting "been advised that sale of land." Haven't been advised
from your office so far.
According to your statement, why is the sale of property price at such unreasonable
price. I do not agree to anything like this so please do not sell it.
Thank you,
Yours truly,

Terminology
Readers of these historical materials will encounter derogatory references to Japanese
Canadians and euphemisms used to obscure the intent and impacts of the internment
and dispossession. While these are important realities of the history, the Landscapes
of Injustice Research Collective urges users to carefully consider their own terminological
choices in writing and speaking about this topic today as we confront past injustice.
