File No. 5445-2
506 Royal Bank Bldg., Hastings & Granville, Vancouver, B. C. Dear Sir:
Re: Land Sale.
You have also sold my 4 acre land against my will. I would like to let you know that ir has cost me $100.00 for an acre of bush land which I had to clear. Then I had raspberries ever-berries hops etc. which would bring in good income. I must tell you again that $200.00 is just like giving the land free after all the time and labour I put in.
Re: Crop Sale.
I have written you before regarding this matter but did not receive your reply.
Please let me know how much you sold or leased the crop for before you sold the land.
Price of crop for both the 10 acre and 4 acre land.
Yours truly,

Terminology

Readers of these historical materials will encounter derogatory references to Japanese Canadians and euphemisms used to obscure the intent and impacts of the internment and dispossession. While these are important realities of the history, the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective urges users to carefully consider their own terminological choices in writing and speaking about this topic today as we confront past injustice. See our statement on terminology, and related sources here.
