Office of the Custodian, 506 Royal Bank Building, Vancouver, B.C. Dear Sirs:

Received your letter of the 20th instant with the balance sheet and cheque.

Since the appraised values on the property and chattels were so low as I protested in my letter of June 12th, 1944, File 3891, I cannot accept this cheque, so I am sending it back, pending the outcome of the property sale suit against the Government.
