Dear Sir:
I received my estate list which you sent me. When I recieved my list I found out that
my estate was sold without notice.
From last June my wife Yae Kawai got heart sickness and could not write about this to you. She cannot get up yet.
I am suffering in spiritual and economical ways. I cannot write a detailed letter
now but I will write later. I am not satisfied in the way it was sold without notice
and also the price.
Yours truly,

Terminology
Readers of these historical materials will encounter derogatory references to Japanese
Canadians and euphemisms used to obscure the intent and impacts of the internment
and dispossession. While these are important realities of the history, the Landscapes
of Injustice Research Collective urges users to carefully consider their own terminological
choices in writing and speaking about this topic today as we confront past injustice.
