Office of the Custodian 506 Royal Bank Bldg. Vancouver, B.C. Dear Sir:

Enclosed please find cheque in the sum of $16.90, which you had send on May 20/47.

I am very sorry but I cannot accept the cheque because:

1. I didn't ask you to sell the chattels at 474 Alexander St. When I was in Slocan I asked you to send it to me, but you never answered.

2. The chattels I left there in care of the Custodian was not only 16.90.

Therefore please see the mistake.
