Sameshima was born on 23 November 1915. He was a shoe repairer. His family includes Kumi Sameshima (mother), Saichi Sameshima (father), and Tetsuo Sameshima (brother). He lived in Port Alberni, BC and was forcibly uprooted to Hastings Park, Vancouver, BC and Tashme, BC. His listed seized property includes: stitcher and finishing machines; store equipment; War Savings Certificates.
