His family includes Kiyono Sorimoto (wife; nee Kiyono Michihara; in Japan), Kuni Sorimoto (mother), Masako Sorimoto (son; in Japan) and Sakiko Sorimoto (daughter; in Japan). His home address is listed as 285 Heatley Avenue, Vancouver, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Slocan, BC and exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946.
