This sub-series comprises fifteen files of F.G. Shears containing correspondence, some of which was marked private and confidential, and other documents, such as Office of the Custodian memoranda. In addition to things related to Shears and K.W. Wright, the files pertain to the following: Eugene Arpin; specific Bird Commission claims; G.W. McPherson; cases of specific Japanese Canadian individuals and companies; the microfilming of records; letters concerning remuneration and claims that were received since the closing of the Custodian Vancouver office.; the destruction of office records after the closure of the Custodian office; Winnipegosis Creamery; and E.H. Coleman.

Shears, Frank Gould created this archive during his role as director of the Vancouver branch of the office of the Custodian of Enemy Property.
