This sub-series comprises seven files containing newspaper clippings pertaining broadly to the treatment of Japanese Canadians in Canada and to the following: the forcible sale of Japanese Canadian company assets and Japanese Canadian real property in the Vancouver area; auction sales; the deportation and "repatriation" policies; deaths within Japanese Canadian "settlements"; Etsuji Morii and the Black Dragon; and Japanese Canadian farm lands in the Fraser Valley and the Veterans' Land Act.

Shears, Frank Gould created this archive during his role as director of the Vancouver branch of the office of the Custodian of Enemy Property.
