This file includes news clippings collected by F.G. Shears from 1938 to 1950, most from 1941 to 1942. These clippings speak to the anti-Japanese sentiment of the time and also to the circumstances which led to the dispossession.
Name of creator
Shears, Frank Gould created this archive during his role as director of the Vancouver branch of the office of the Custodian of Enemy Property.
Immediate source of acquisition
