This series comprises one file containing the following: blank membership application
forms of the Japanese Canadian Committee for Democracy; a 1946 newsletter of the Citizenship Defence Committee by Kunio Hidaka that pertains to financing for an appeal to the privy council, the engagement of an English barrister for the appeal, the Ontario provincial convention, and time limits on permits and placement allowances; and a
memorandum issued by the Canadian Committee, World Federation of Democratic Youth concerning the deportation and internment of Japanese Canadians.
