This file contains extensive correspondence between W.J. VanDusen, President of the H.R. MacMillan Export Company, and H.R. MacMillan during his term as Timber Controller. This file, as well as the W.J. VanDusen files from 1941 and 1942, demonstrate the continued influence of H.R. MacMillan within the export company. [Within the file is evidence of the company's early interest in the Deep Bay area.]
