Scope and content |
This file contains miscellaneous correspondence between the Timber Controller (H.R. MacMillan) and various lumber suppliers and officials. These letters explicate how many lumber
companies at the time offered their services and products to the Timber Controller,
with many of them anxious to contribute to the war effort. The file speaks to the
demand for lumber but also the ample number of suppliers at the beginning of the war.
