Scope and content |
This sub-series comprises seven files containing archival records from Library and Archives Canada digitized by Roy Miki. Records contained comes from RG36-27, Department of Labour, Japanese Division; RG27, Department of Labour; and RG18, RCMP fonds. Material pertains broadly to the treatment of Japanese Canadians, in addition
to the following: JCCA National Executive Board meetings; the "repatriation" policy and the disposition
of Japanese Canadian–owned property; the Custodian of Enemy Property; the Cabinet Committee on Japanese Questions; RCMP reports relating to dispossession; property disposal; Indian Residential Schools;
and internment camps, camp conditions, and travel restrictions.
