This file contains correspondence regarding Eikichi Kagetsu's claim against Mitsui & Co. Ltd. (Seiichiro Kashio). This dispute concerns the shares of the Ocean Timber Company. Because this negotiation was interrupted by Canada's declaration of war on Japan, this file also includes issues of "enemy" property and correspondence with the Custodian. Includes material that relates to the purchase of Block 195, Cowichan Lake Distinction.
