His family includes Chuichi Nanameki (father), Kiyo Nanameki (wife; nee Kiyo Ikenoue or Kiyo Kenoue; in Japan), Kazuo Nanameki (son; in Japan), Michio Nanameki (son; in Japan), Tomio Nanameki (son; in Japan), and Teruyo Nanameki (daughter; in Japan). His home address is listed as Woodfibre, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Slocan, BC and was exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946.
