Shimozawa (mother; nee Tsugi Tozaka; in Japan), Jutaro Shimozawa (in Japan), Hatsu
Shimozawa (wife; nee Hatsu Iwamura), Walter Shimozawa [also listed as Wataru Shimozawa]
(son), Hisashi Shimozawa (son), Sue Shimozawa [also listed as Suzue Shimozawa] (son),
Kay Shimozawa [also listed as Kazue Shimozawa] (daughter), Tom Shimozawa [also listed
as Tsutomu Shimozawa] (son), Isao Shimozawa (son), Mitsugi Shimozawa (son), Diane
Shimozawa (daughter; born in 1944), and Stanley Shimozawa [also listed as Susumu Shimozawa]
(son). He lived at 1040 Stewart Avenue, Nanaimo, BC and was forcibly uprooted to Hastings
Park, Vancouver, BC, Tashme, BC (House No. 711, Tashme, BC), and then Barnwell, AB.
His listed seized property includes: float house (Nanaimo address above); boat “Two
Sisters”; engine parts; fishing equipment; household belongings and food (including
Kikoman “Japanese sauce”); shrines; gramophone with records.
