Sokugawa was born on 10 June 1901. He was a sawmill worker for Robertsen & Hackett
(name may be incorrect). His family includes Miwa Sokugawa (mother; nee Miwa Ogawa;
deceased at time of file), Kichijiro Sokugawa (father; in Japan), Shima Sokugawa (wife;
nee Shima Kitagawa), Kimiye Sokugawa (daughter), Mitsuko Sokugawa (daughter), Eiri
Sokugawa (son), Hideo Sokugawa (son), and Yoshiko Sokugawa (daughter). He lived at
1633 West 2nd Avenue, Vancouver, BC, was forcibly uprooted to Angler, ON, and was
exiled to Japan on 02 August 1946. His listed seized property includes: household
belongings; sewing machine.
