Uyeyama was born on 25 September 1899. He was a fisherman employed by North Pacific
Cannery, Skeena River, BC. His family includes Hisa Uyeyama (mother; nee Hisa Nariwa;
deceased at time of file), Jukichi Uyeyama (father; deceased at time of file), Some
Uyeyama (wife; nee Some Inouye; deceased at time of file), Tenuko Uyeyama (daughter;
in Japan), and Kiyoshi Uyeyama (son; in Japan). He lived at North Pacific Cannery,
Skeena River, BC, was forcibly uprooted to Solsqua, BC, and was exiled to Japan on
24 December 1946. His listed seized property includes: boat “Betty C”; fishing equipment.
