Toyokichi Uyeno
Uyeno was born on 18 June 1899. He was the captain of a fishing boat employed by Canadian
Fishing Company, Fort Gore Avenue, Vancouver, BC. His family includes Shu Uyeno [also
written as Chu Uyeno] (wife; nee Shu Uyeno or Chu Uyeno; in Japan), Sumio Uyeno (son;
in Japan; also written as Sumiyo Uyeno), Ray Uyeno (daughter; in Japan), Tadashi Uyeno
(son; in Japan), and Yoko Uyeno (daughter; in Japan). His home address is listed as
679 East Cordova Street, Vancouver, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to East Lillooet,
BC, and was exiled to Japan on 2 August 1946. No seized property is listed.
